Happy New Year to ALL!! As we enter a new year what an exciting time it is to look forward to what Christ has in store for us! As you start your new year-take a moment to reflect back on the previous year and ask yourself-if you had an opportunity to do things differently what would you have done and then set realistic expectations of how you might be able to achieve those goals. For me personally it is taking better care of my temple (1 Corinthians 6:19,20) by watching what I eat and exercising along with better prioritizing of my time so that my time is spent most effectively and is not wasted for that is one thing I will never get back in life, and balancing time between GOD, family, church, job, hobbies, etc. can be a real balancing act altogether for each of us. Maybe for you it might be something different or like mine. Whatever it is in your life or if you don't know, pray to GOD that he might help reveal what it is that he would like to help you through so that you can be an even better disciple this coming year by sharpening those areas of your life. Whatever it is that you do may GOD continue to bless each of you this coming year! This is an exciting year for men's ministry at First Baptist Church of Lake Alfred and I can't wait to see what GOD has in store for each of us as we take up our cross and follow that Quest for the sake of Christ Jesus!! Let us always remember "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another" (Proverbs 27:17)
